Unfortunately, we must inform you that the INTRO Festival in Den Bosch will not take place this year. Due to rising costs and the loss of national subsidies, it is not feasible to organize the festival as we are accustomed to.
A Too Great Risk
Festivals have been under financial pressure for years. After COVID-19, operational costs have increased, and subsidy funds have disappeared. At the same time, there is less money from the national government. Additionally, the organization we wanted to collaborate with has withdrawn, making it impossible for us to jointly fund the festival. It became increasingly clear that we need to seek alternative solutions to keep the INTRO Festival financially viable.
Looking for an Alternative
We will be in discussions with the involved schools to explore a suitable alternative for Den Bosch. As soon as more information is available, we will communicate about it.
